Each academic day, students work on the core subjects of English, mathematics, science, history, geography, and literature. Our dedicated teachers work closely with each student in small class settings with up to 10 students per class. For students attending part time, parents are kept informed of the learning schedule so that lessons can be completed at home. In the last hour of the day, students participate in a chosen elective such as gardening, arts & crafts, musical theater, trading club, baking, board games, and more.
Our Horsemanship and Nature Day program begins 2nd quarter after fall break. Students begin their day with horsemanship at 8 or 9am. Families then meet at various nature parks to play, picnic, hike, observe, and interact with wild life. This is a great time for families to get outdoors and enjoy all the learning and health benefits nature has to offer. Nature plays a vital role in our educational philosophy as it brings balance and healing to the body, mind, and soul.
